Jeffrey Zeldman has been involved in the redesigning/rebranding/restructuring of the applications front.

One thing I like from the preview is the new UI for categories where they have added an “Most Used” tab making it easier to check the categories more often used in posts.

WordPress Theme Mumrik available for Download

Today I released version 1.0 of my WordPress Theme Mumrik for Download. The theme is based on the theme I am using on this blog. No plugins are required but I would strongly suggest using the Related Posts Plugin by Semiologic.

Please download and use, if you have any feedback do not hesitate contacting me. The theme has of course been stripped of the things that are specific for this site

New WordPress Theme for the Redesign of The Interaction Design Blog

Redesign of The Interaction Design Blog (www.hising.net)

I am redesigning The Interaction Design Blog with my own theme (named Mumrik after my black cool cat). I will make the theme available for others to download. My goals with the theme is:

  • Create a clean look and feel
  • Make the blog easier to navigate and read
  • Remove unecessary information
  • Learn the WordPress theme engine
  • Make it easier to add images and movies
  • Make good use of jquery

Feel free to comment on the first draft of the design.
